Dental Insurance

At Newport Family and Cosmetic Dentistry and Portsmouth Dental Associates, we want your dental care to be as smooth and stress-free as possible. Dental insurance can be confusing, and coverage varies based on the plan your employer has selected. For details about your benefits, please review the insurance booklet provided by your employer.

We will give you an estimate of your insurance coverage before treatment based on the information received from your insurance company. Please note that this is only an estimate, not a guarantee of payment.

As a courtesy, we file all insurance claims for you. However, any balance not covered by your insurance remains your responsibility. If your insurance pays more or less than expected, we will adjust your account accordingly.

If you have questions about your coverage, our financial policies, or financing options, our team is always happy to help.

Payment options:

• Flexible Payment Plan: Pay a portion up front, and the rest over an agreed-upon time period.
  1. No-interest flex plan: Pay in a short time frame and receive no interest charge.
  2. Low-interest flex plan: Pay off your bill over a longer period of time with low interest.
• Cash Discount: Pay upfront with cash and receive a discount.
• Check or Credit Card: Always accepted.

Other options:

• We accept Sunbit and CareCredit to help offset the cost of treatment as well. CareCredit has interest free options from 6-24 months.

Please note: Payment is due at the time of service.

As a courtesy to you, we will bill your insurance company and track claims. Please keep us informed of any changes to your insurance plan. You are responsible for the fees charged by our office, no matter what your insurance coverage may be. Most insurance companies should respond to the claim within four to six weeks. Any remaining cost is your responsibility.
